what you see is wood, steel and concrete…not sure how all that will fit in with the final condo complex??? I’m not sure what the wood is doing there…never saw this kind of construction before…

Common in NZ hence the question. Wooden framing with steel for large openings usually. Then they clad the outside and line the inside.

hmmm, I usually see steel and concrete for this kind of construction…interesting how things are done in different parts of the world.

Wood is good structurally and cheap. Works well in an earthquake too..

hmmm, most of our our homes are constructed with wood, but to my knowledge anything over two stories isn’t…

True. Usually two floors uses steel and or concrete block in NZ though wood is possible.
