Again, a photo taken while driving home…there is an area in southern Ontario where there are hundreds of windmills along the side of the road in farmers’ fields. While in theory these are a good source of energy, apparently the vibration causes medical issues for those who live close by?

Yes, but the vibration is a huge issue as well…apparently can cause nausea, dizziness, headaches and more!

I would imagine the windmill company paid the farmers for the use of their land…there was a proposal for construction of these kinds of windmills a while back in our area and it was turned down. Was very happy when it was…

It depends on wind speed and direction. They can be really loud, even over distance..

Oh, I know they can be noisy as well…having them around our city would have been terrible. So thankful they turned the company down.

I don’t know, the do require flat virtually treeless land so wasn’t sure exactly sure where they would go around here, but I could see them going a couple of hrs south of here??? I do think they will have a difficult time around populated areas as there is much more information about the negatives with them.

I think there were many who when they first came on the scene jumped at the chance thinking it was good for the environment, etc…but there hadn’t been enough research or possibly not enough information passed along! I think most populated areas will turn them away.
