buzzing around!

I was at the waterfront the other day and came upon this pretty pink flowered bush…I’m not up on my flowers so I don’t know what it is called…but the closer I got the more Bees I noticed…so I tried to get a few shots.   I have to say these fellows don’t stay in on position for more than a couple of seconds, it was very difficult to get photos…I’m sure the people walking by where wondering what I was doing?  these are three different Bees at three different bushes…in case you were wondering!

  1. I know what you mean, I have been trying to get a good shot of a local bird called a fantail but they are so quick, they keep coming back and teasing me too.. The one in the middle is really nice and sharp 🙂 Its best not to think too long on what you look like when you do these things 😀

    • thanks Terence…I’ve not done much in the way of macros…I don’t find I can get close enough with my lens? I consider myself lucky to get these as those fellows flit around like crazy… 🙂
