the last couple of days have been cold, very wet and windy…typical fall days…but I decided I’d rather look at something else…the beach at Fort Zachary State Park, Key West! The sand is very pebbly and hard on the feet…definitely need flip flops. All three photos were taken in the winter of 2011 with my iPhone…

I’m missing summer as well…but the older I get the less I like winter. I live in northern Ontario so it is what it is…that is why I like to visit Florida in the winter. 🙂

well, I was going to comment about the color of the water, but then that ship pulled up! WOW! I’ve never been on a cruise before. This angle really puts the enormity of the ship in perspective. (and the color of the water is beautiful!)

lol…I’ve never been on a cruise ship either, but they are massive…there is generally more than one ship docked in Key West daily and people are able to walk with in a few feet of them, then the size hits you full force. Yes, the water is beautiful, I can sit for hours, under a tree or umbrella though…but the ocean is one of my favorite things…this beach is man made so it is pebbly and is hard on the feet in some areas, but that is why they make flip flops, right? 😉
