ice encrusted…

both these photos are of the ice encrusted rocks after a cold windy day when the waves crash on shore…the water freezes on the rocks in a ripply affect…I don’t think I quit captured the beauty…especially when the sun shines on them!

    • Thanks Terence…it really is very interesting looking up close…it was too slippery to get as close as I would have liked, but I think the ridges are clear enough. I have more of clusters of icicles hanging from tree branches…it was so cold and windy the day before allowing them to form …

That pattern is so neat looking … and I like the frozen drops, too. Pretty cool, Heather.

    • the day before was a bitterly cold extremely windy day…that is all it takes to create these works of art! I’ve not been back but we did have a couple of relatively warm days so this is most likely gone now. Happy you liked them LB…
