beauty & gnarly…

here is one of my favourite bushes…Bougainvillea……so vibrantly colourfulhibiscus.2013.marco.

anyone who stops by on occasion will know that a gnarly tree is beautiful thing to me…it always makes me wonder what happened to the branches to make them for m the way they do…some trees it is obvious the wind has bent them but others not so obvious…saw this fellow on the way to Key West when I stopped to take photos of the bridgegnarly.tree.k.w.2013

    • thanks Mohammad…I”ve a fondness for gnarly trees…my camera is the D3000…the D7000 isn’t in my price range for the time being, maybe never? It was suggested to me the lens is where the money is best spent, but I don’t know enough yet to say…

    Hey Heather
Been following your pics, but haven’t had a chance to comment on most of them. This bush is indeed beautiful as well as the snarly tree. Reminds me of the marching trees in Lord of the Rings…
    Good work…..

  5. Beautiful pics, Heather and the two are a wonderful contrast to each other. Gnarled trees certainly have a beauty all of their own. 🙂
