oh? but won’t you be able to see the lines and branches better without all the leaves in the way?

what I mean is, right now the leaves are sprouting, in a few days all the barren gnarly trees will be completely covered with leaves and I won’t be able to see the twisted branches in the same manner as the silhouette will be lost.

As others have said the wood does look great. I think it is the contrast in the texture. Think it would be great as a black and white image.

thanks Ben…I agree the texture is amazing, and this is the top board on a railing of a wharf, which is why is is so textured. Will give the B & W a try and compare…will be by when I get time to read! 🙂
