on my way home…
I had lunch with my daughter this afternoon and when done we went to do a bit of Christmas shopping for Paige, my grand-baby…on the way home this is what I was fortunate enough to see!

Hey Amy…so nice to have you visit!!!! It has been such a long time since we talked! Hope all is well with you and yours?
Yes, I say fortunate, as I don’t get to see the sunset nearly as often as I’d like to…so when ever I do I consider myself fortunate! I took them for granted for many years when I lived lakeside facing west…now that I’ve moved, I realize just how special they are to me!
Take care my friend…

So beautiful, Heather! It seems to be very cold there. Thanks! 🙂

thank you Fabio…the sunset did all the work…the photo was taken with my cell phone as I didn’t bring my camera with me. Actually today wasn’t really cold…0 Celsius which is 32F

You have proved once again that wonderful photos can be taken with a cellphone! Glad that you are not in deep cold. 0 Celsius in December in Canada is like spring temperature… 🙂 Have a wonderful Sunday with your family! 🙂

the phone cameras keep getting better and better…I just got an iPhone 6 and look forward to giving the camera a go…have to wait until I find a hard case for it though as I’ve been known to drop it…don’t need to replace the screen on a brand new phone… 🙂

Just don’t bend it, the 6 seems a bit less rugged than the rest

oh no really? As I mentioned, I tend to drop my phone, so I require a heavy duty case, but I’ve never bent my phone. I think the 6 is a bit longer maybe that is why it is less rugged?

Dunno, check it out on youtube though, not so tough by the looks..

got a case for the iphone 6…have been using it since Friday…took a photo of last nights sunset with it. the Iphone 6 is a bit longer so maybe that is were the flexibility comes in?

Hi Heather
What a beautiful sunset to see at this time of year. You captured it so nicely. I din’t know you had a grand daughter. Congrats. I’m so jealous.

Hey Bonnie, great to have you stop by…I’ve seen many sunsets in many locations and North Bay has some of the most beautiful that I’ve ever seen! Yes, Paige is 10 months old…she is Michael and Melissa’s daughter…she is a sweet heart. I’ll email you a couple of pictures.
Hope all is well with you and yours! Have a wonderful Christmas Bonnie! Cheers

it was Laurie, which is why I used the word fortunate…it has been 4 years since I moved and I still miss the sunsets!
